Fat shaming in the Red Light: A Counter to Alex Gray's "Plus-Size Rebellion"

A response to Alex Gray's article, Plus-size sex workers in demand: Straight-size sex workers rebel, published on March 23, 2026.

If you're questioning the credibility of Alex's article, welcome to the club. We think he's making it up half the time too. But hey ...

I'll admit, I'm usually the one poking holes in his stories, but this time he's got a point (even if it's by accident). If someone else had reported on this story, I'd be all for it.

Seriously - this is where I agree - straight-size sex workers complaining about plus-size workers cashing in? Get over yourselves. If clients want "cushy-sex" and plus-size workers are delivering, that's called capitalism, darling. Pricing per kilogram? Brilliant. Maybe straight-size workers should start charging per (lack of) curve.

Lola, the straight-size worker whining about "unprecedented profits" for plus-size workers? More like unprecedented jealousy. Amalia, the plus-size queen charging per kilo? You're empowering women to love their curves and line their pockets. Don't let the haters bring you down.

As for Kaylee B, 5-year supplier of "services", complaining about "emptying clients' pockets" ... maybe invest in some curves, honey? Looks like the only "affront to the industry" is straight-size workers' lack of adaptability.

In this showdown (if it's true), who's laughing last? The plus-size workers, clearly.

The only issue I have with the original story is that Alex wrote it. If it had been written by someone more credible, I'd love it.

I do love Alex Gray, but I don't like him very much!
