The Democratic Alliance (DA) has called on the Patriotic Alliance (PA) to take immediate action against their Cape Town youth leader who's under criminal investigation for allegedly trying to solicit sex from a teenage girl in Bonteheuwel.
DA Councilor Angus McKenzie emphasized that South Africans deserve leaders who protect children, respect women, and follow the law. Not wrong! McKenzie said, “The Democratic Alliance calls on the Patriotic Alliance to immediately take harsh action against its Cape Town youth leader who is under criminal investigation for attempting to solicit sexual activity from a teenage girl in Bonteheuwel. This matter is now the subject of a police investigation, and the full weight of the law must apply. South Africans deserve leaders who protect children, respect women, and follow the law.”

In the often pathetic world of SA politics, the DA had to remind the PA to do the right thing regarding serious allegations like sexual misconduct involving a minor. Why do parties need external nudges to act on stuff like this? Shouldn't they just know to take harsh action when allegations involve kids? Like, isn't that just basic party hygiene?
Local really is lekker!
