Airlines introduce 'Fat Tax' amidst outrage: You're paying for your own weight

In a move that's left many screaming I'm not paying for my belly!, most major airlines have announced a new policy: passengers will be charged based on their weight. That's right, the more you weigh, the more you'll pay.
"It's about fairness," said an airline spokesperson, Buck Franklin. "If you're carrying around extra baggage – and we're not talking about your Louis Vuitton – you should pay for it."
Outraged passengers are calling it 'discriminatory' and 'body shaming' - no surprise there. "I'm a big girl, and I'm proud!" tweeted one passenger. "But not proud enough to pay double," replied another.
However, aviation experts say it's a smart move. "It's all about balancing the aircraft," said aerodynamics expert, Dr. Barry. "If everyone on board weighed 90 pounds less, we'd use 10% less fuel. Simple math."

An airline CEO agrees: "We're not asking people to lose weight – we're just asking them to pay for their own gravitational pull. It's a win-win: we save on fuel, and passengers get to choose how much they want to contribute to the planet's – and their own – waistline."
Love it or hate it, this policy is here to stay. Who's ready to step on the scales?
True story!
