A Ukrainian-born sex worker, identified as Kate, has taken a client – an American tourist - to court in an unusual lawsuit. The dispute arose after the client refused to pay the full agreed-upon price for the service, citing that “Kate’s appearance wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.” The sex worker has Tetra-amelia syndrome – she has no arms or legs.
The client allegedly expressed dissatisfaction with Kate's appearance after the service, and most are arguing that Kate should have followed standard practice and taken payment upfront.
But Kate's motivation for pursuing the case doesn't appear to be driven by the principle of fair compensation for her work. It was the comment he made to the sex worker: She reminded him of an ocean buoy.
The case has sparked debate, with many questioning the client's judgment in making such a comment, calling his behavior unprofessional and derogatory.
True story!
