TULSA, OK - In an unusual trend sweeping the sleep-deprived nation, fat women in Tulsa are cashing in on a novel idea: hiring themselves out as human cushions to help men sleep better. For a hefty fee, these entrepreneurial women are providing a unique solution for men struggling to get a good night's rest.
"It's simple, really," said Brenda, a plus-sized Tulsa resident who's been in the business for a month. "Men just need something soft and squishy to snuggle up against, and I'm happy to provide that. I just curl up next to them, they get comfy, and before you know it, they're out like a light."

The women, who call themselves "Sleep Cushions," charge a premium rate of $50 an hour, with discounts available for longer sessions. They claim their services are in high demand, particularly among stressed-out executives and shift workers.
"I was skeptical at first, but it really works," said client Brody, a 40-year-old accountant. "I just couldn't get comfortable, but having Brenda's ... um, generous presence next to me really helped me relax. I slept like a baby."

The Sleep Cushions are trained to leave the room once their clients are sound asleep, often sneaking out unnoticed. They claim their goal is simply to help people get a good night's rest, and they're not interested in anything more.
The Tulsa Sleep Cushion industry is projected to gross over $1 million this year alone. Who knew being a human pillow could be so lucrative?
