Blondie's wolf, unchained: (Giving in and) admiring the metaphor

Okay, Blondie wrote The wolf didn’t break in - it was let in, and I hate admitting it, but she's gone and penned something that's actually thought-provoking. The whole wolf-and-boys-in-the-city thing is kind of genius, I've got to give her that. Metaphorical exploration of systems, power dynamics... yeah, it's all there. Almost makes me want to say it was 'brilliant' (sarcastic shudder). Guess the metaphor worked harder than her ego.

And okay, fine, the themes of recognition, placement, and systems absorbing what's already aligned with them are pretty sharp. Who wouldn't want to read about wolves and boys illustrating Wall Street's dirty little secrets? It's one of those pieces that makes you think, 'Huh, maybe there's more to this Blondie chick than meets the eye...' but let's hope she doesn't read this.
Yes, I do love Blondie, but I don't like her very much!
