An extract from:
How-To Be Remembered As A Good Man

If I were to kick the bucket today, a handful of mourners would show up, but none beyond family and semi-close friends. Will I be remembered? You bet. But a poll would likely indicate that most people would tick the boxes of thief, scammer, con man—all those “lovely” labels.

Would I be remembered as a good man?

     Fat chance, pal!

     In your dreams, buddy!

     When turtles learn to knit!

Slim to none, and Slim just left the building!

     Hell, no!

     You get the gist …

But, fear not, things can change.

This chapter’s short and sweet because there’s not much more to say about inspiration. We need to discover our own, and I won’t pretend to be the guru who can tell you how. But by understanding this HOW-TO guide, it will undoubtedly get you on the right road. Trips just happen to spark stories for me, and this one’s no exception.

My Hellenic escapade ignited this particular one.

On that note, consider this an almost-disclaimer-and-consent-warning: parts of what’s to come are about as pleasant as stepping on a landmine filled with rotten fish guts. And I mean that in the most literal, stomach-churning sense.
