Referring to Blondie's story The arches don’t go dark article here .
Blondie, I have to hand it to you, your latest article is a real page-turner. I mean, who needs plot or coherent sentences when you can just string together a bunch of flowery words and pretend it's deep?
So, if I understand correctly (and I'm not saying I do, because, you know, it's me, Alex), you're trying to say that the maintenance worker is a genius who sees through the facade of modern society, and the Golden Arches are a symbol of corporate control. Wow, what a revelation.

I had no idea that McDonald's was secretly manipulating us all with their bright, shiny signs. I thought it was just because they want to sell us burgers and fries.
And the part where you say the worker is "looking for what refused to change"? Girl, please. He's just checking if the sign is working properly. You make it sound like he's on some kind of existential mission.
I also love how you weave in themes of control and conformity, like you're some kind of social commentator or something. Newsflash, Blondie: people like burgers and fries. They don't need to be manipulated into eating them.
Anyway, keep on keeping on with the overthinking. Just don't forget to come back to reality every now and then.
Yes, I do love Blondie, but I don’t like her very much!
