NEW YORK, NY - In a shocking move, Mattel, Inc. has announced the recall of 5,000 Barbie dolls due to an "unseemly" manufacturing error. The popular fashion doll, known for its sleek design and wholesome charm, has been found to have an unexpected - and entirely unsuitable - feature: pubic hair.
According to reports, the dolls in question were produced in a limited batch last month and distributed to select retailers in New York. However, upon inspection, it was discovered that a small number of the dolls had been fitted with an unauthorized, and quite unmentionable, feature.

"We are deeply sorry for any offense or discomfort caused by this unfortunate mistake," said Ynon Kreiz, chairman and CEO of Mattel, Inc. "Barbie is a role model for young girls everywhere, and we take our responsibility to provide wholesome and innocent toys very seriously."
The recalled dolls are being pulled from shelves immediately, and parents are advised to check their children's toy collections for the offending item. A full refund will be issued to any customer who returns the affected doll.
The incident has sparked a heated debate about quality control and the suitability of Barbie's, ahem, anatomy. "This is a travesty," said one outraged parent. "What's the world coming to when our children's toys are being fitted with such unseemly features?"
Mattel, Inc. has assured the public that the issue is isolated and that all future production will be thoroughly inspected to prevent any further ... untoward occurrences.
True story!
